Hi. You found us. Pull up a chair — the good one's by the window.
We're a holding company. We start good companies and we keep them. That's the whole idea.
Our customers are architects. Everyone who buys from us is building something with it. B2A, residential and commercial. If you're building something, you're in the right room.
Honestly? It's sixteen letters and we liked how it sat on a sign. But if you want a reading, here's the one we keep:
Don't undercut neighbours. Create, learn, and keep everything real. Deliver until nobody's kids lack anything. Continue.
The short form is CLK. We've decided it stands for Continuous Learning Kulture — with a K, because we're not going to pretend that was an accident.
The story we tell is this. A dunclaker, in the old Scots trades, was the person who went round before dawn tapping on windows to wake folk for work — a human alarm clock, paid in bread. And a dunklac, in Old Frisian, was a lake so dark you couldn't see the bottom, which the fishermen liked, because it meant the fish couldn't see them either.
We found all this out after we picked the name. Make of it what you will. We did.
